Who Was Cole Porter
Cole Porter (1891–1964) was an American composer and songwriter, author of some of the most beloved melodies in the jazz and popular repertoire, such as Night and Day, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Let’s Do It, and Anything Goes. His elegant, sophisticated, and often ironic style transcended musical genres, profoundly influencing jazz and Broadway musicals.
