On Sunday, October 25, 2026, Blue Monday Trio<\/a> returns to Elegance Caf\u00e8 with \u201cA Night with Thelonious Monk\u201d, a journey into the language of one of the most original composers in modern jazz. Piano, double bass and drums explore asymmetrical melodies, silence, angular harmonies and themes that have become part of bebop history.<\/p>

Thelonious Monk is one of the figures who changed the vocabulary of modern jazz.<\/p>

In the 1940s, Blue Note presented him as one of the new voices of modern music, and his role in the birth and development of bebop would become increasingly clear.<\/p>
