His compositions are known for advanced harmonies, unexpected modulations, rhythm changes and refined melodic writing, often intended for great female voices.

A tribute between auteur pop and jazz freedom

The repertoire includes some of Bacharach’s most beloved songs, from “Close to You” to “Never Fall in Love Again”, from “This Guy’s in Love with You” to the evocative “Alfie”. Not a simple sequence of covers, but a tribute built with interpretative sensitivity and a jazz vision.

The evening alternates intimate, almost confidential moments with spaces of improvisational freedom, where voice, piano, double bass and drums interact elegantly. It is the ideal live performance for those looking for live jazz music in Rome in a more romantic, sophisticated and enveloping atmosphere.

     Play

The musicians on stage

“To Burt with Love” brings together a lineup of great musical intensity:

Mimma Pisto – vocals

Ettore Carucci – piano and arrangements

Stefano Nunzi – double bass

Andrea Nunzi – drums

Mimma Pisto is a singer and composer, graduated in Jazz from the Conservatory of Bologna with top marks.
