It is not simply a celebratory tribute, but a musical work that takes some of the most beloved themes and reimagines them with freedom, improvisation, and respect for their melodic power.

A unique project in intensity and authority

What makes this evening particularly valuable is the presence of Massimo Pirone, who was part of Ennio Morricone’s studio recording orchestra from 1987 for almost all of his films. This direct connection with the Maestro’s sonic world gives the project a rare authenticity and a depth that goes beyond a simple tribute.

     Play

The musicians on stage

The lineup

Massimo Pirone – trombone
Claudio Colasazza – piano
Carlo Battisti – drums
Stefano Cesare – bass

A quartet of great experience

Massimo Pirone brings to the stage international experience and a direct connection with Morricone’s music.
