Specialized in classical and traditional repertoire, especially the swing of the \u201930s and \u201940s, he has worked with leading Italian traditional jazz musicians, later forming the band <\/span>The Jazz Russell<\/span><\/a> and exploring modern and contemporary jazz repertoire.<\/p>\nHe studied classical and traditional jazz techniques and repertoire under Masters Eddy Palermo and Michele Ariodante, attended seminars with Agostino Di Giorgio and Barry Harris, completed Berklee College of Music improvisation course with Gary Burton, and studied with guitarist Marco Acquarelli. He has participated in major jazz festivals in Italy and abroad, including<\/p>\n
