Tribute to Jobim in Rome with Eleonora Bianchini 4et
On Friday, September 25, 2026, Eleonora Bianchini 4et brings a tribute to Antonio Carlos Jobim to Elegance Cafè Jazz Club, blending luminous harmonies, Brazilian rhythm, and jazz freedom. A refined evening to enjoy with a drink or dinner, created for those seeking live music and an intimate atmosphere in Rome.
The concert: Brazilian elegance and the language of jazz
Jobim’s music is defined by melodies that seem to flow effortlessly, sophisticated harmonies, and rhythms that embrace the listener without ever overwhelming them.
The Eleonora Bianchini 4et project begins with this idea of elegance and brings it into a fully jazz-oriented setting.
The Jobim tribute in Rome on September 25 is not intended simply to reproduce a familiar repertoire. Voice, piano, double bass, and drums explore its nuances, allowing Brazilian sensitivity to meet improvisation and dialogue between the musicians.
Rhythm, melody, and space
The concert moves between intimate passages and more rhythmic moments. The voice tells the story of the melodies without weighing them down; the piano defines the harmonic color; and double bass and drums create a soft pulse that is always present but never intrusive.
This is a project created for attentive yet immediate listening. The refinement of the arrangements does not create distance. Instead, it draws the audience into a luminous, sensual, and deeply expressive repertoire.
The musicians on stage
- Eleonora Bianchini – vocals
- Ettore Carucci – piano and arrangements
- Stefano Nunzi – double bass
- Andrea Nunzi – drums
Eleonora Bianchini

Born in Perugia, Eleonora Bianchini began studying piano at the age of nine and attended the Morlacchi Conservatory.
After taking part in the Umbria Jazz Clinics in 2002, she received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Between 2003 and 2011, she lived between Boston and New York, developing her work in Latin jazz and collaborating with musicians including Danilo Perez, Rosa Passos, Oscar Stagnaro, Mark Walker, and Jamey Haddad.
During her years in the United States, she also performed in prestigious settings including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Her work as a singer-songwriter includes projects in which her Italian cultural roots meet the colors and rhythms of Latin America. After spending time in Ecuador, where she taught singing, she settled in Rome.
She has also recorded three projects with double bassist Enzo Pietropaoli: DOS, IN SIGHT, and ANDAR, the latter featuring accordionist Luciano Biondini.
Teaching experiences in India and her participation in the G20 “Sur Vasudha” orchestra in Varanasi further expanded the international character of her artistic journey.
Ettore Carucci
Ettore Carucci began playing piano at the age of four. After earning a diploma in classical piano, he explored jazz through programs including Siena Jazz and Umbria Jazz and studied with Danilo Rea, Ray Santisi, and Paul Schmelling.
Throughout his career, he has performed with musicians including Benny Golson, Gerry Bergonzi, Paolo Fresu, Fabrizio Bosso, Robben Ford, and many other Italian and international artists.
He has recorded numerous projects as both a bandleader and sideman and currently teaches at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence.
In the Jobim project, he is responsible for the arrangements and creates the connection between the Brazilian colors of the repertoire and the harmonic freedom of jazz.
Stefano Nunzi and Andrea Nunzi
Stefano Nunzi holds a diploma in double bass and has developed experience in both orchestral music and jazz.
After moving to Rome in 2000, he collaborated with projects and artists including the Nicola Conte Jazz Combo, Maurizio Giammarco, Amii Stewart, and numerous Italian and international soloists.
Andrea Nunzi became interested in drums at the age of thirteen and developed his career across jazz, blues, funk, and contemporary music.
Since moving to Rome, he has collaborated with musicians including Steve Grossman, Scott Hamilton, Maurizio Giammarco, Nicola Conte, Max Ionata, and Alice Ricciardi, combining live performance with teaching.
Together, they form a close-knit rhythm section capable of supporting Jobim’s repertoire with balance, precision, and naturalness.
Dinner and concert: an evening to enjoy at a relaxed pace
The concert devoted to Jobim is especially suited to guests looking for a romantic dinner with live jazz or a refined way to celebrate a special occasion.
The drink and concert package, priced at €30, allows guests to accompany the live performance with a selection from the cocktail bar, inspired by the speakeasies of the 1920s.
With the dinner and concert package, guests can choose two à la carte courses from starters, first courses, and main courses.
Chef Marco Roselli’s cuisine begins with Italian tradition and opens outward to Creole and Cajun influences through spices, carefully managed cooking techniques, and seasonal ingredients. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
The atmosphere at Elegance Cafè
The warmth of the wood, the leather seating, and the intimate lighting complement the character of the repertoire.
The stage remains close to the tables, while the acoustics allow guests to hear the breath of the voice, the touch of the piano, and every nuance of the rhythm section.
Elegance Cafè is not simply the place in which the concert takes place. It is part of the experience. Dinner, cocktails, and music unfold in the same setting and at the same relaxed pace, without abrupt interruptions.
In-depth focus: a project with an international outlook
The meeting between Eleonora Bianchini’s voice and Ettore Carucci’s arrangements is central to the identity of the evening.
Both musicians bring experiences developed between Italy and other countries, from American jazz to the musical cultures of Latin America.
Jobim’s repertoire therefore becomes a point of departure for a dialogue between different artistic journeys.
Its Brazilian dimension is not treated as a decorative or exotic element, but as a musical language rich in harmonic, rhythmic, and expressive possibilities.
